RunningRattie What will sustain us through the winter? Apparently not a Gillian Welch show. What are your concert hopes for the year? Any venue or city you'd love to see them play in 2015? Gillian Welch or DRM? Any awesome non-Gill shows on your calendar yet? I had a...  more

JasonK I've given up hope, although I'm sure a DRM album and tour soon. I'm busying myself with Two Replacements gigs later in the year.

JasonK It's a real shame they couldn't come over at the end of the last DRM tour when JPJ was onboard.

PeterC I would like to see them play at the The Old Fruitmarket in Glasgow, Scotland. Gillian Welch or DRM does not matter which. I would like to go and see Gillian Welch again at the Hammersmith Odeon in London. The last time there was fantastic. I would also...  more

sponwed Saw St. Vincent last Friday. One of the best shows I've seen in ages. Seeing Jolie Holland in April, and the Pixies in May. I'm not able to see one, but I'd LOVE to catch the current Kaki King tour.

sponwed Rattie, that is funny. I'll be seeing Gregory Alan Isakov in April, but have no idea who he is, ha ha ha. Jolie Holland is opening for him, and she's one of my all time favorite songwriters, so I'm hitting the show just to see her.

RunningRattie He is well worth getting to know. I recommend This Empty Northern Hemisphere, and then The Weatherman. He's basically a farmer out in Colorado. His supporting band (banjo, cello, fiddle) is such a wonderful group of guys.

sponwed You guys heard of Zane Campbell? Or Sturgill Simpson?

PeterC I saw Sturgill Simpson last year supporting Steve Earle at a festival in Perth Scotland. He was good.
